AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): Tripura Tafashili Samannoy Samiti on Sunday announced about a national agitation on September 25.
Tripura Leftist Dalit wings also to participate in the agitation and to place deputation to the Governor of Tripura Ramesh Bais, said a local leader here adding, in all states same programme to be campaigned.
The Tafashili Samannoy Samiti leader said that under the Modi Govt attacks on Dalits have been increased and since Modi Govt came in power for second time, attacks on Dalits have raised more.
Rapes of Dalit is 19.1 everyday and murder is 19. Amongst the total crime against Dalits, 43% is shared by state Uttar Pradesh.
The Leftist leader further stated that in the Hindi-belts such crimes are highest in numbers including Rajasthan like states.
They cited examples of Telengana’s Pranay and Amrita.
