AGARTALA, Sep 19 (TIWN): West Agartala Police have successfully arrested a robber after one year of a theft incident in the Agartala city.
On October 12, the snatching incident took place where the arrested accused Amir Hossain Choudhury was involved. Police searched for him on that time but could not find him.
Police officer Dibyendu Roy said, the accused was in Bangladesh and 2 days back he crossed Bangladesh border and went towards his home. Accordingly, police raided his home at South Ramnagar and arrested him.
He snatched a necklace from a woman before KFC along with another person who was arrested on that time.
Against Amir there were more theft complaints earlier and arrest warrants were against him.
