MELAGHAR, Sep 15 (TIWN): Tripura CM Biplab Deb has inaugurated the 'Boat Race Competition' and addressed beloved people of Melaghar on the occasion of 'State Level Neermahal Jal Utsav-2019' at Rudrasagar, Melaghar, Tripura.

Tripura’s Melaghar is known for its annual boat racing festival. The programme was organized by Information Cultural Affairs and Tourism Department, along with the local fishermen community.

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb flagged off the race amid cheers and enthusiasm.
