AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb who is now visiting Delhi has met BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav, Working President J P Nadda.

CM reportedly had a productive discussion with him regarding various party related issues, also crucial discussions took place on strengthening the party. Deb also briefed him regarding the achievement of the Government in last 18 years.

There were also discussions with J P Nadda regarding State BJP and Gov't work. CM has briefed him regarding Tripura Gov't's achievements of past 18 months.

This visit may boost the BJP’s strength as the BJP is undergoing tough situation due to internal party issues, groupism although Biplab Deb is holding Party and Administration both positions.

Tripura has two elections ahead : By-election in Badharghat, ADC-election.
