AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb has asked media to propagate about the free medical service under Ayushman Bharat which are given for the BPL families.

According to the CM, there should not be any problem for APL families to pay in the hospital.

He slammed the Govt hospital doctors for making cabin, ICU free without his permission.

“OPD never serves rice, but there are rumours going on about food distribution. Rs. 50 rice added items only will be payable for the APL families. BPL families will get free of cost”, said Deb.

“Our work is to establish the poor and 3 lakhs families are getting 84,000 Ayushman cards for free treatment under Ayushman project. But why the APL families will not pay for it”, said CM.
