AGARTALA, Sep 11 (TIWN): Reacting over opposition parties agitations against the scrapping of Free Medical Service, Tripura Chief Minister slammed the propaganda saying, why the APL family will not pay in the hospitals ?

“Our work is to establish the poor and 3 lakhs families are getting 84,000 Ayushman cards for free treatment under Ayushman project. But why the APL families will not pay for it”, said CM.

The agitations are going on after a person died in GB hospital after his family failed to pay to the hospital Rs. 10000 for operation. He was an accident patient.

All the opposition parties demanded restoring of the previous Govt’s Free-Medical-Service for all regardless APL and BPL because many APL families will not be able to afford those fees.
