Belonia, Oct 26 (TIWN):South Tripura District failed to deliver on MSDP (Multi Sectoral Development Plan) scheme. Further the total utilisation of funds for this district is 59% only.

No progress was reported from Blocks even. Moreover no such District level meeting was held to so far. It also stated that there was nil performance in the construction of ACR, SGSY and SJSRY schemes. Due to this fund is kept unspent in most of the blocks. Executing agencies, which have proper manpower resources and experience, are not being selected. The Prime Minister's 15-Point Programme and MSDP in South Tripura to improve education, opportunities, economic activities and living conditions of minorities continue to remain as it was earlier.
