AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): One Bangladeshi Muslim was arrested by Tripura Police in Teliamura in allegation of illegally entering in India and also looting local people by fooling them in God’s name.
He allegedly hypnotizes women and loot all moneys in the name of God, local people alleged.
He was caught from Baishghoria area in Teliamura today, identified as Mohammud Lipon.
Today in suspect of hypnotizers, he was beaten by local people, however, police rescued him from the angry mob. But his hair and beard were cut by local people.
Local people also said the person uses “Mantra Shakti” to loot people, however, it is statement from superstitious villagers of that area which can not be scientifically trusted.
From him Bangladeshi passport and moneys were found.
He allegedly looted gold, money and other expensive items. Police are verifying the matter.
