AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): Like every year, this year also Tripura has celebrated World Physiotherapy Day.

A massive rally was organized here in Agartala by students of Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) to mark the day.

World Physical Therapy Day is observed to generate awareness about the crucial contribution physical therapists make to society, enabling people to be mobile, well, and independent. This is observed on 8 September. This day was designated in 1996 by the World Confederation for Physical Therapy.
