AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): A murder accused who remained absconding for long 33 years was arrested by East Agartala Police on yesterday in a successive drive.

The accused Jhulan Biswas, W/O-Ranjan Biswas allegedly killed her daughter in 1986 at Dukli and arrest warrant came against but for long she remained absconding.

Via secret sources police were informed that Jhulan Biswas goes to her daughter’s home sometimes in Dukli. From that source police arrested her, said East Agartala PS OC-Manik Debnath.
