AGARTALA, Sep 3 (TIWN): CPI-M candidate on Tuesday has submitted nomination for the upcoming by-election of September 23rd.
The party has selected woman as the candidate named Bulti Das.
While announcing candidate’s name, CPI-M convenor Bijan Dhar said that the candidate belong to very poor background but an honest social worker. She is master-degree holder by qualification. Bulti Das is having a very poor background and right now elected councilor.
CPI-M alleged that BJP supporters tried to force her to resign from her existing councilor’s post but she fought back and this time also she has challenged BJP openly in the election.
Bijan Dhar also informed that both Bulti and her husband are unemployed and undergoing massive poverty.
