AGARTALA, Sep 2 (TIWN): Congress leader, Advocate Pijush Kanti Biswas has strongly criticized ESMA bill.

Biswas said, this bill has added not only Govt employees but also private employees. He said, “Such law has nowhere. Indian constitution has no place for it. It has done to stop businessmen from all types of protest”.

In the first day Tripura Assembly Centering the proposed bill, oppositions hit the Assembly, chaos created, later walked out.

The ruling leaders said that India’s most of the states have this law under the Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA). It is a central law. 

This bill to empower police to arrest people in service who disrupts works in various means and this arrest will be without warrant.
