AGARTALA, Aug 31 (TIWN): Uproars in Tripura Assembly reported on yesterday when law and order situation was stretched by the opposition.
Former CPI-M Minister MLA Badal Choudhury revealed that total 76 children were molested in last 6 months in this tiny state.
The ruling party leaders asserted that in comparison to Left Govt’s era, this Govt is having a better Governance.
Also over an proposed bill to empower police to arrest people in service who disrupts works in various means and this arrest will be without warrant.The opposition leader, former CM Manik Sarkar said that Govt employees are also citizens of India. They have right-to-raise-voice, they have right-to-protest. This bill will scrap their democratic right.
Then over law and order discussion more uproars created.Assembly Speaker Rebati Mohan Das refused the motion’s proceeding.
Over the action of the speaker, opposition walked out of the Assembly.
Opposition said, the Govt is too intolerant to listen to the opposition.
