AGARTALA, Aug 19 (TIWN): Princess Pragya deb Barman has recalled Maharaja Bir Bikram Manikya’s contribution in modernization of Tripura from Colleges formation to military modernization.

She mentioned, it was under this visionary King that Tripura’s first rifles had participated in world War and administrative reformation was also done in his era.

From Education to cultural sectors everywhere Maharaja Bir Bikam’s contribution was at its best, she added.
