AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): The Students Federation of India (SFI) has observed the 64th foundation day of All India Students Federation (AISF) on Monday in Agartala.
In this regard SFI organized a programme at Paradise Chowmuhani, Agartala. SFI members gave red salute to the former leaders.
SFI State Secretary Sandeepan Deb said, the dream of Independent India has not yet fulfilled even though to an extend people’s lives were developed after independence but the sole aim for the freedom could not be fulfilled. He mentioned, SFI struggled a lot for Education for all and in coming days will be protesting against major problems like unemployment.
In other subdivisions also the programme was observed with full enthusiasm.
The All India Students' Federation is a nationwide student organisation founded on August 12, 1936.
