AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): Preparation for Independence day started in Tripura and garment business centering the programme is going peak as only 3 days are left.

Securities have been beefed up across borders, Airports and public places.

Specially school students now are busy in dance rehearsals for the upcoming programmes.

Like previous years, this year, Independence Day will be celebrated for three days in Tripura. Total three days to mark the celebration this year (August 13 to August 15).

Various programmes to be conducted on these four days as : 1) Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, 2) Marathon, 3) Torch Run, 4) Football match, 5) Swimming competition, 6) Yoga, 7) Cultural Programme.
