AGARTALA, Aug 6 (TIWN): After abolishment of Article 370 at K&K, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has said that removal of Article 370 is not historical but has set a milestone.
CM was addressing in BJP State Headquarter. He said, after independence India Govt has taken 3 major decisions. These are : GST, Demonetization and abolishing of article 370 and 35A.
Due to 370 continuous Pakistan was getting oxygen and under 6 years long Govt terrorism could not be controlled, said Biplab Deb.
Biplab Deb further congratulated Modi Govt, slamming Congress which could not take this major decision.
Deb also said, maximum people have supported it, except few those who are against nation.
CM raised question where the funding from centre for J&K went as no development has come.
The statement from Biplab Deb came after Parliament on Tuesday approved a resolution abrogating special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Constitution and a bill for splitting the state into two Union Territories.
The resolution was passed by Lok Sabha with 351 members voting in its support and 72 against it, while one member abstained.
