AGARTALA, Aug 1 (TIWN): E-rickshaw driver have placed deputation to AMC Mayor Prafullajit Sinha on Thursday demanding some more time in the permit of the E-rickshaw drivers to on Agartala roads.

From today, according to High Court’s order their licenses have cancelled whereas the drivers have demanded some more time from the State Govt.

They have also blamed the former CPI-M Govt for its negligence regarding rules.

The protesters said, suddenly if their livelihoods are snatched what they would tell their families, their children ?

“Just give us some more time”, the drivers demanded before the Govt and also AMC.

There is also a hope and demand that Tripura Govt should allocate proper compensation to them which will be not only benefited for the poor families but also trust on the Govt will rise high among common men and that compensation they may start new work.
