AGARTALA, July 23 (TIWN): With the initiatives of Chief Minister Biplab Deb transport connectivity in all ways will likely to be expanded soon under PM Modi’s vision laid for Tripura ‘HIRA’ for which the State Govt is drawing road-maps and also started working in all sectors.
Amid ongoing flight crisis due to decline of SpiceJet business, Tripura passengers have also been affected for a long period of time due to flight fares and ticket crisis.
However, during Suresh Prabhu’s Civil Aviation dept in the first Modi ministry the process of Delhi-Agartala flight service started after various requests were sent from the CM office in Tripura. On yesterday finally the requests, followups resulted as Delhi-Agartala flight service was finally declared to be started from August 14, 2019 by Indigo Airlines.
Launching of new flights might give a sigh of relief for Tripura passengers. The flight number is 6E 2047 Delhi-Agartala 12.50 (dept), 15,10 (arrival).
This has also made the people happy residing in Delhi and nearby areas as it may ease tickets’ availability during Durga puja on upcoming October month.
Analysis says, for official visits, industrialists this flight will be much useful may boost tourism also in coming days, when Tripura’s tourist spots have started displaying nationally.
