AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): CPI-M has staged an agitation at Agartala protesting against the poll violence and forceful occupying of Panchayat seats.
Opposition leader Manik Sarkar hit BJP for winning Lok Sabha Election with sentiments of Pulwama attacks. He also mentioned, this issue was further sensitized with Hindu-Muslim divisions through media, political figures just to win the election and dump all the failures of Modi Govt.
CPI-M alleged, just like September 2018, BJP has bound CPI-M candidates in this Panchayat election to withdraw nominations, which is totally undemocratic, snatching over 86% seats uncontested.
Bijan Dhar heavily criticized state BJP saying it is attacking not only on opposition leaders but also attacking on common men, minorities.
Dhar advised villagers to get united regardless political identity against “outsiders” who are attacking innocent people.
