AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has chaired a meeting with Health Dept officials regardless Health Secretary, Health, MD, NHM, DHS, DFWPM, Medical Superintendents of GBP/ AGMC, IGM, Cancer Hospital and HoD of various disciplines of AGMC.
There are 6 major decisions about GB hospital development, whereas discussions took place on IGM and cancer hospital’s development.
For IGM hospitals also additional funding was highlighted as required. 34 lakhs is necessary for lift installation.
2.7 crores needed as date no LOC provided for BE provisions. Funds for diabetes retinopathy is needed.
For cancer hospital also funds are required including Rs. 3 crores for dues of civil works taken by PWD. There is also a need of biomedical engineer.
Govt will also focus on various non-functioning equipment at IGM, GB hospital.
It is emphasized that there is a delay in sub-allocation of fund and suggested that the fund may be collected directly from FD to GB/ AGMC hospital.
