AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): During flood and water-logging in Agartala, a viral video came in facebook, passed via whatsapp messages where police officials are catching fish inside the police station at the East Agartala Police Station.

The water-logging / flood water went inside the rooms of the police station. In that water fish were also floating.

A big bucket with fish was seen where police officials are keeping the fish after catching them by hand.

In the video, the officer caught a catfish.

Water-logging had hit Agartala in last 4 days followed by heavy rain. Also flood were reported across the state. Over 18000 people rendered homeless whereas the situation is now better.

Agartala water-logging problems are due to poor drain construction and unscientific city management.
