AGARTALA, July 15 (TIWN): Two Weeks Refresher Course on Rural Development, New Media and Social Change was held at Tripura University from 1st July, 2019 to 14th July, 2019 under Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching(PMMMNMTT) Scheme.
The program was attended by 54 College/University Faculties from across the country and the resource persons were also being invited from different premier academic institutions of the country.
In the concluding day of the program was attended by Prof. V. L. Dharurkar, VC of Tripura University along with Dr. Sadhana Pandey, Registrar of BAMU, Maharastra, Prof. M. D. Jahagirdar, Prof. M. B. Dhaigude, Dr. Ajit Thete, Prof. M. K. Singh, Registrar (i/c) and other dignitaries.
In this program, Prof. Daharurkar said to come and put join hand for the overall development of the academic environment of the country. He also emphasized on the New National Education Policy-2019 and urged the students not to confine within the own state rather participate in the national level competition. Today the world is a global village where there is no barrier for communication and language he added while delivering his concluding remarks.
He also urges the faculty participants to focus on rural development through their academic skill which will be a catalyst for our national development. The program was ended with the taking of views from the participants and the distribution of Certificates to the faculty participants.
