AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): Rain has created havoc in Tripura along with other Northeast states like Assam.
Rain-triggered floods and mudslides in Northeast state have killed over a dozen people and displaced more than a million from their homes, with officials warning the situation could worsen in the coming days.
Heavy monsoon rains in Assam state killed at least 10 people in the past 72 hours, state authorities said on Saturday, while six people were reportedly killed in Arunachal Pradesh, which borders China's Tibet region.
In Tripura due to storms 3 were killed in road accident after tree fell on a car.
