AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): Indigenous people based party INPT has placed deputation to Tripura Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki in the interest of indigenous people’s development and existence.
Among all the demands raised by INPT it was Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) was given special focus.
INPT told the Governor to appeal centre not to introduce Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) in the Parliament as if all illegal immigrants living in Tripura become citizens that indigenous people will be under danger.
In total 26 demands have been placed by INPT including all Govt employees and pensioners due payments clearance, District to be empowered to constitute Arms Police force within its Jurisdiction, stopping interference of ruling party in village committees, proper implementation of Forest right act 2006 etc.
