AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): Followed by a BJP vs. BJP clash at Dharmanagar, North Tripura BJP hooligans have attacked on CPI-M party office at there.
All furniture of the party office was vandalized, party members were injured.
The incident took place in Dharmanagar West Chandrapur area after public have allegedly revolted against BJP’s bike hooligans and burnt various vehicles after they created turmoil in the area centering Panchayat Election for few days.
Later, it was alleged that followed by money extortion and ongoing violence BJP people were attacked by public which was aided by BJP’s another group which was deprive of getting election tickets.
On behalf of BJP it has been said that BJP activists were campaigning in the morning at there when a group of miscreant rushed to the spot and held attack on the BJP supporters.
They also burnt vehicles, bikes of BJP activists. At least 22 bikes have been burnt today in this clash.After the incident BJP activists attacked on CPI-M party office.
