UDAIPUR,October 21 (TIWN): Governor Padmanabha Balakrishnan Acharya today visited the orphanage at Khilpara and met the children living there. At first the governor visited the orphanage home in Khilpara and supervised the quality of food being served there to the children and also about the sanitation facilities. Moreover, the Governor also asked the hostel supervisor to take initiatives to improve the facilities.
Then the Governor visited Kirit Bikram Institute and met with the teachers and students of the school. In course of his visit the Governor advised the teachers to teach the students about Kirit Bikram and other Great Kings of Tripura. Tripura kings were always well known for their welfare activities for people. He also asked the headmaster about the quality of midday meals served among the students. The Governor also suggested the teachers to maintain total cleanliness inside school campus and the toilets of the school.
Secretary ICA Santanu Das, DM Gomati Sonal Goal, SP Gomati Sankar Debnath, Adsl SP Tapan Debbarma, SDM Udaipur Ajit Debnath and SDPO Udaipur Ratan Kr Das accompanied the Governor during this visit. At around 10.30am Governor left for Agartala.
