AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): The political parties in Tripura started nomination filling up process for the upcoming Panchayat Election which is going to be held on 27th July.

CPI-M, BJP, Congress started filling nominations. Today a violence was reported, which is however the first massive attack on opposition in this Panchayat election. Before that everything was going on in right direction and nominations were submitted peacefully.

Total numbers of Gram Panchayat seats are 6111 and Panchayat samiti 419 seats and 116 seats in Zilla Parishad.
