KAILASAHAR, OCT. 21, (TIWN) : The preparation for celebrating the festival of light, Diwali is on full swing at the District Headquarter of Unakoti District, Kailasahar. The organizers are all set to celebrate the festival with joy and festivity.
AIKATAN CLUB : This organizer is one of the most mentionable club in the undivided North District. This year their budget is of 6,00,000 rupees. The artisans from Kolkata are decorating the Pandal with wood and clothes. Local artists are preparing the idol. Lighting work is to be done by Maa Manasa Electricals, Agartala. This year the club is celebrating their 34th year, claimed one of the organizers Subrata Choudhury.
FRIENDS CLUB : This organizer of Srirampore School ground is celebrating their 11th anniversary. Their main attraction is the 28 feet long idol made by Uttam Pal of Bisalgarh. Local Bani Electrical is bestowed with the task of lighting. The club members are doing the work of Pandal. Their budget is of 2,00,000 rupees.
