AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): 40-km long newly BG railway track from Belonia to Sabroom of South Tripura district has gotten clearance from Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS).

The inspection was done by Commissioner of Railway Safety, SK Sharma on Monday ending a long suspense.

On 9th February Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Tripura Institute of Technology and a 23 kilometer long railway line between Garjee and Belonia in Tripura's Agartala on Saturday.

BG connectivity has been successfully launched by NFR as Southern Tripura’s last corner Sabroom are now connected with Railway lines.

On yesterday the first ever train officially reached in Sabroom Railway Station amid cheers, whistles and much enthusiasm.
