AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): With another development towards ‘Swachh Bharat’, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has announced public urination will lead to fines shortly in Tripura.
It can be noted here that in many places, public urination is punishable by fines, though attitudes vary widely by country. In general, males are more likely to urinate in public which stinks Agartala city across.
Not only urination, but also throwing garbage in prohibited places will be punishable.
Deb has announced this while addressing on Monday in a workshop on "Solid Waste & Liquid Resource Management" at Agartala Town Hall.
