Kamalpur, Oct. 18 ( TIWN): A rumour of Bengali ultras once again being activated has been spread in the tribal dominated areas has suddenly caught pace in the tribal dominated areas of Shimbukchak and Panboa in this subdivision.

As a result of this rumour the locales had panicked and the terror has created much unrest among them.

To control the situation and to abolish the rumour, the SDM R.H.Kumar and SDPO Uttam kumar Banik has conducted meeting with the villagers and assured them that all such rumours are nothing but blatant false. Recently, in the tribal dominated areas of the subdivision like Shimbukchak and Panboa, the inhabitants got panick- stricken with the spread of a rumour that, the Bengali ultras are once again keeping up momentum to ransack the tribals of the state and they would start their operations from either Shimbukchak or Panboa. Some of the locales even claimed of witnessing the heavily armed ultras roaming in the area. However, the SDM and SDPO adopted immediate and stringent actions to control the situation. Both of them jointly organized meeting with the villagers and assured them that all such rumours are merely baseless. But, still some of the villagers believe that the Bengali ultras may strike back at any time. However, the sources of State and Central intelligence agencies strongly denied any such activities anywhere in the state.
