Agartala, Oct 18 (TIWN): The accused persons of multi-crore scam in Bishalghar RD Block are still at large. Even, no strict action has been taken by the police administration rather showing frame drama in the name of raid. As a result, a question is being raised among the public, whether the state government will take any stern action against the BDO Bimal Chakraborty including other accused persons or not? Police are still continuing a drama in the name of investigation under the direction of Melarmath.
Surprisingly, the police had netted RMSA scamster Arnab Chakraborty from Kolkata but police could not arrest the brother of CPI-M youth leader and close to ruling front, multi-crore MGNREGA scamster- Bimal Chakraborty.
Recently, police had conducted several raids at Arnab’s house and many other places including Shib construction at Jirana and DBI of Melaghar, from where the bricks have been supplied to Bishalghar block. According to the sources, the police are likely to raid five more places- BDS bricks field, KM Industry, Tripura Bricks Company, Tripura Bricks Industry, Umakali Bricks, Joyram Iron and Grill Industry, Swarup Welding Industry and R.D. store division.
Following Bishalghar scam, the CPI-M leaders are in trouble after the special audit report of Bishalghar RD block came into the limelight. The opposition leader- Sudip Roy Barman alleged that the incumbent Finance Minister- Bhanulal Saha is allegdly involved in this massive scam.
