AGARTALA, May 28 (TIWN): Tripura is witnessing massive attacks on journalists and media persons under the BJP era.

It has been reported in the morning dailies that one local TV channel was shutdowned illegally on yesterday named ‘Akash Tripura’/

One more journalist was attacked in Tripura on Sundat night.The TV channel journalist, anchor has been identified as Koushik Adhikari.

Apart from Koushik, more 3 journalists have been attacked in Tripura in last 3 days.

The increasing attacks on journalists are matters of concerns, who are working hard in this field for their livelihoods amid much challenges.
