Agartala, Oct 17 (TIWN): The tribal students those who appear in the board examinations from different NGOs are being deprived by the negligence of Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) and Tribal Welfare Board.
A section of deprived students have alleged, they are not getting equal facilities in comparison to the other students coming from different chosen NGOs by the Boards.
They also informed that some of the NGOs maintaining healthy relation with the boards by allegedly giving bribe while some of the NGOs unable to keep good relationship with the boards. As a result, the students from different NGOs, which are not able to keep healthy relationship with the boards, are being deprived from getting equal benefits.
Earlier, an issue was raised by the Madhyamik ST drop-out students that education department and the state government have not been taking any initiative to help the madhyamik drop-out S.T. students. It is an important issue considering the fact that tribals were denied equal opportunity in the past by the government and the policy-makers.
