AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): While addressing in a protest rally organized by CPI-M to voice against the attacks of BJP and the recently occurred poll-rigging, CPI-M MP Sankar Prasad Dutta has slammed BJP’s hooliganism which is going on day-night since it assumed in power in 2018-March.
He said, “Today when BJP talks about democracy, talks about peace then Tripura people laugh at their fake faces”.
“People of Tripura were preparing to answer the BJP in the EVMs but people’s democratic rights were snatched”, said Dutta.
“Can you believe that a Govt which was voted in power in 2018 within 14 months they are unable to trust people ? Reason is they are well aware of their sins done in last 14 months.
The MP also took a dig at Election Commission representatives regarding the CCTV cameras’ non-functional conditions.
