AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): Tripura SSA teachers are undergoing tensions due to a long pending result related issue at NIOS.

The National Institute of Open Schooling, formerly National Open School, is the board of education under the Union Government of India, where huge numbers of Tripura’s contractual employees took admission.

After Tripura SSA teachers filed a complaint to ‘National Institute of Open Schooling’ (NIOS) with their ongoing problems regarding results, deputation was placed to the Director of Education today with the same issue.

The issues were raised are following :

1)    Results of many teachers who appeared for D.EI.ED exam are either reflected as result withheld or absent,

2)    Statuses of candidates who appeared for examination of Bengali subject has been shown as absent,

3)    Marks of the tutor marks assignment is still pending to be declared,
