AGARTALA, May 15 (TIWN): CPI-M local leader of Udaipur subdivision in Gomati District Mustak Mia was critically injured in a miscreants’ led massive attack with knife and weapons.

After beating him, snatching his all moneys, the miscreants left him in a drain. Later local people who could not dare to come forward after the miscreants left rushed to the spot and with Fire Brigade’s help sent him to GB hospital from Gomati District hospital.

The incident took place at around 6 am when the fish businessman Mostak Mia was going for his daily business and BJP miscreants attacked him with sharp weapons.  Mohoram Mia, Mafis Mia are two of the miscreants who have been identified.

He was going to Sonamura Chowmuhani to sell fish.

An FIR has been lodged in the R K Pur PS. Mustak Mia’s condition is critical. His wife has raised question to the Chief Minister whether any existence of law is there ?

CPI-M local leaders have visited hospital to check his condition, offered helps.
