AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): Education cum Law Minister Ratanlal Nath has shocked journalists at the Secretariat today saying, “Tripura has set example of peaceful electionâ€.
Ratanlal Nath was asked about the poll rigging by journalists as Election Commission of India has announced 168 booths’ re-polling followed by massive booths capturing.
Losing cool, Ratanlal Nath replied, “You journalists must visit West Bengal to know what is going on at there. You stay one month in West Bengal and then I am sure you will not ask this question again”.
“Such a big election was held without any disturbance. We have accepted re-poll and if 100 times re-poll happen, we will accept. Tripura has set example of peaceful election…….free and fair”, said Ratanlal Nath.
