Agartala, Oct 16 (TIWN): As part of countrywide demonstration, the members of Bank Employees’ Federation of India (BEFI) Thursday staged a mass sit-in-demonstration at Paradise Chowmohani in the capital city Agartala with 8 point charter of demands. Over 250 members of BEFI have participated in this demonstration.
8 point charter of Demanded: to ensure the protection of the Reserve Bank of India, National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) and Co-operative Banks, formation of National Gramin Banks and to introduce pension scheme in Garmin Banks equally, minimum salary, PF and pension has to be ensured to all the contractual employees, to nationalized all the private banks, all the fixed salary based employees has to be considered as regularized and many more.
