AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, May 10 (TIWN): Illegal wood cutting business in Udaipur has been busted by Forest Dept which was disturbing the environment for long.
Police were searching for the gang since many days on finally on yesterday night with Forest Dept’s help police seized the wood cutting items along with huge number of woods.
In the special drive, Forest Ranger Uttam Kumar Das, Kakrabon PS SI-Sankar Saha, BSF Jawans were present along with huge police force.
Items worth lakhs were recovered from them, but the accused managed to escape from the spot.
Police said, soon the culprits will be caught.
