AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): No political party is happy over the decision of re-poll under various angles. Whereas BJP is not happy due to re-poll announcement opposition parties are unhappy as only in 168 booths re-poll was announced.
Whereas with a major shame for Tripura’s electoral history, Election Commission has announced a total re-polling in 168 polling stations, the opposition parties have moved to Supreme Court in demand of total Re-Poll, Whereas
However, CEO Sriram Taranikanti said that the polling will be started from 7 am and to be continued till 5 pm. Total numbers of voters are 1,41,255.
“We will set all managements for free and fair repolling on Sunday. We already have central forces in our state. Strict observations will be kept as we have now less numbers of booths”, said the CEO.
The re-polling is being conducted for the West Tripura constituency held on 11th April. BJP stopped lakhs of voters from casting votes.
