Congress to file petition in Supreme Court on Tripura re-poll issue today

AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): Congress has set today’s date to file a petition in the Supreme Court asking the reason behind 168 booths’ re-poll whereas RO himself said 433 booths were vitiated.
On Wednesday in a press conference, State Congress President Pradyot Manikya said, “Congress party is disappointed over the decision of Election Commission for declaring election only for 168 booths. But Congress will not leave the ground”,
The Congress leader also claimed that Congress will lead in each booth on May 12.
There will be also legal actions against the micro-observers of 168 booths, said Congress.
The party to demand CCTV footages from the Election Commission via Supreme Court which “should be” handedover to public.
