DYFI’s various programmes mark Rabindra Jayanti

AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, May 9 (TIWN): DYFI in Tripura has organized various programmes on Rabindra Jayanti in Agartala.
At first the members of DYFI paid floral tribute to Rabindranath Tagore whereas a massive blood donation camp was also organized by DYFI in the Chatra Yuva Bhawan.
Former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar attended the programmes and appreciated the attempts.
Rabindranath Tagore, also known by his sobriquets Gurudev, Kabiguru, and Biswakabi, was a Bengali polymath, poet, musician, and artist from the Indian subcontinent. He reshaped Bengali literature and music, as well as Indian art with Contextual Modernism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
He had deep relation with Tripura Kings.
