AGARTALA, May 8 (TIWN): With a major shame for Tripura’s electoral history, Election Commission has announced a total re-polling in 168 polling stations.

Addressing media, CEO Sriram Taranikanti said that the polling will be started from 7 am and to be continued till 5 pm. Total numbers of voters are 1,41,255.

“We will set all managements for free and fair repolling on Sunday. We already have central forces in our state. Strict observations will be kept as we have now less numbers of booths”, said the CEO.

The re-polling is being conducted for the West Tripura constituency held on 11^th April. BJP stopped lakhs of voters from casting votes.
