AGARTALA, May 8 (TIWN): Congress has filed a complaint to the Election Commission of India after various Govt documents were leaked to the party including whatsApp message of the CEO regarding rigging control notes.
Congress leader Tapas Dey in Tripura told media the party has lodged a complaint with the Election Commission (EC) alleging that the BJP is getting access to government documents and has demanded an inquiry into it.
On 2nd May BJP had submitted a memorandum demanding the removal of Tripura Chief Electoral Officer.
Documents which were attached in the memorandum of BJP included a letter of the Returning Officer addressed to the chief secretary of Tripura.
Congress raised question, how BJP could have access to such government documents ?
