AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, May 6 (TIWN): If everything goes well, the West Tripura Re-Poll may be announced today. Various reports have claimed.
Already security measurements have taken place and security forces have claimed as entering the state.
Earlier in a letter it was seen that around 500 booths may undergo re-poll, whereas oppositions had demanded a total repoll.
West Tripura RO-Sandeep Mahatme was dropped from Election duty and Vikash Singh was appointed for free and fair election after Election Commission found Mahatme’s role unsatisfactory.
Saradindu Chaowdhury has been appointed as the East Tripura RO and Dhalai DM.
West Tripura election on 11th April had undergone massive booth capturing, voters were prevented from casting votes. In this situation how many booths will undergo re-poll voters are waiting to know.
