AGARTALA, May 2 (TIWN): Thanking CEC Sunil Arora for postponing East Tripura Election, MP Jitendra Chaudhury has requested him not to remove RO East Vikas Singh from the constituency till May 23rd, the result day and to replace RO-West Sandeep Mahatme with another person.

The letter was written by Jitendra Chaudhury after in a surprising move, East Tripura RO Vikash Singh who acted as an honest officer has been transferred to West Tripura constituency.

At the same time, West Tripura RO Sandeep Mahatme was sent at East Tripura.

CPI-M State General Secretary Gautam Das on yesterday has condemned this suspicious move of the Commission, demanding RO-Sandeep Mahatme's removal from Election works and till counting ends, East Tripura should continue with Vikash Singh.
