BJP Govt removes May Day from holiday list, still media houses shutter down their 'Press'

AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, May 1 (TIWN): BJP Govt in Tripura has removed May Day holiday from the holiday list.
May Day has been celebrated since almost Tripura’s statehood history but since BJP Govt came in power at first this day was made restricted holiday whereas this year this holiday has been totally removed from the holiday list.
However, amid such restrictions various private organizations and newspapers to be shutdown to manage one day relief for the employees.
Resentments have brewed among the Govt employees after May Day was banned officially.
