AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): In a shocking outcome after a youth Anupam Paul had shared few news items about the ongoing divorce case of Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb, West Agartala Police lodged case against him, which even though illegal as he just shared news items only, did not post anything by ownself.

His younger brother Abhijit Paul (17) and mother Shikha Datta Paul (49) both were allegedly kidnapped at around night 12.30 am from their Agartala residence by BJP goons, take towards Gomati District in Tripura.

Few are saying, they were taken by police whereas few are claiming they were taken by BJP goons.

On the other side, Anupam’s friend was held by police on yesterday. She was harassed for two days covering 2 hours of each day in search of Anupam.

Again instead of filing defamation case, Biplab Deb has used police to take action, which is totally illegal and sign of intolerance. Moreover, Biplab Deb’ wife till now has not clearly said, that she never filed any divorce case against Biplab Deb, but said she and her husband have decided to punish the social media users who are allegedly spreading “rumours”.

Anupam Paul was appointed illegally at Secretariat after election directly by Biplab Deb to find out anti-BJP news media. He was also IT cell head of BJP and founder of Cholo-Paltai movement back in 2016.
